Truth is Singular
There are different religions and different beliefs about God and the spiritual afterlife and how we get there, but there is only one Truth, there is only one true God. Truth is singular. There cannot be several truths, or different right and wrongs, or different beliefs that are defined by the individual just to make it convenient to that person’s situation. When there are several truths, or false beliefs, they all end up contradicting and canceling the other truths out and nothing is valid except to the individual. No, there is one absolute truth, one absolute right and wrong, even if it’s not convenient, even if the truth is contrary to what you were brought up to believe, even if it’s contrary to what you want to believe. The enemy lies and wants to keep you from God and wants you to deny God. Don’t listen to the lies, the spirit of the antichrist is always deceiving us.
It is true that all paths do lead to God, but there’s only one path that leads to Heaven. Everyone will stand before God, but without Jesus, you will be eternally separated from Heaven and God at that meeting.
As scripture and events from the bible is revealed, we need to understand that the bible is the Word of God. The word of God is absolute. When we don’t go with the word of God we go with our opinions and we make up our own scripture. No. There is only one Truth. The bible is a history book. The bible is a supernatural book. The Words are alive and more powerful than ‘magic’. It’s not a book of fairy tales, there is no happy ending, unless we receive Jesus, otherwise it’s a horror story. There were many, many prophets and witnesses before us, many died to provide God’s word. Why do we think we know more than them? If you already believe in something you should also believe that anything is possible, especially with God.
‘But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”‘ (Matthew 19:26)
‘For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty.’ (2 Peter 1:16)
‘knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.’ (2 Peter 1:20-21)
‘All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.’ (2 Timothy 3:16)
Jesus said at the last supper- “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” (John 14:26) –This basically shows how the New Testament was written with guidance from the Holy Spirit, sometimes many years after Jesus ascended.
There’s a lot to cover. We will get deeper into this later but first let’s review what God said about creation. Plus, the beginning of creation is a good place to start.
